Koke

Koke takes its name from the Japanese word for moss, the green that grows quietly in shade and softens whatever it covers.

Three beads fall along a fine chain. The top two are freshwater rice pearls in deep forest green, irregular in shape, as real pearls are, each one a slightly different silhouette. At the bottom hangs a round moss agate, a translucent stone with green threading suspended within it like something caught mid-growth, set in gold-leaf caps.

The chain is stainless steel, chosen because it holds its finish and does not react with skin the way plated base metals do. It stays bright through daily wear and will not leave a mark on you.

No two agates carry the same pattern or color clarity, and no two pearls share a shape. This pair is the only one like it.

At 2 inches, Koke is long enough to move with you and light enough to forget you are wearing it. Deep green that goes with more than you would think, and gold that warms it.

Care
Pearls are organic and the softest material here. Keep them away from perfume, hairspray, and lotion, and apply them last when you dress. The stainless steel chain resists tarnish and holds up to daily wear, but the gold-plated studs and the pearls both want care. Remove before swimming, showering, or sleeping. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth only; no cleaners of any kind. Store in the pouch provided.
