Kasumi

$46.00

Only 3 made

Kasumi takes its name from the Japanese word for spring haze, the pale mist that settles over hills in the weeks before the blossoms open.

Three beads fall in a linked line. The top two are Czech cathedral-cut glass in soft violet, faceted with gold caps at each end, so the light breaks into small pieces as they turn. At the bottom hangs a rose-cut Czech glass bead in blush, larger and rounder than the ones above it, cut deep enough to hold light rather than pass it straight through.

The color runs slightly differently through every bead. This one is a bit more uniform than the other earrings offered.

At 2 inches, Kasumi is long enough to move with you and light enough to forget you are wearing. The palest piece in the line, and the easiest to wear with anything.

Care

Remove before swimming, showering, or sleeping, and keep perfume and lotion off the posts to protect the gold plating. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Store in the pouch provided.

A note about some of these photographs:
These images were created or edited with AI assistance to show color and scale consistently across our catalog. The piece itself is entirely handmade by us. Bead placement and color will vary slightly in the pair you receive.

Materials

  • Czech glass
  • 24K gold plated findings
  • wire linked

Keep your piece away from perfume, hairspray, and lotions, and put jewelry on last when getting ready. Store it in a dry place, flat and out of direct sunlight. A little water will not hurt it, just wipe it dry afterward with a soft cloth. For gemstones, an occasional gentle wipe is all they need.
