Kori
$46.00
Only 4 madeKori takes its name from the Japanese word for ice, the kind that forms clear rather than white and holds whatever light passes through it.
Beads stack down a straight line. Czech fire-polished glass in clear and the palest blue sit close together, with a round clear crystal set among them so the column shifts between cool and colorless as it falls. At the bottom hangs a cathedral-cut Czech glass bead, capped in silver at both ends and cut deep enough to throw light where the beads above only carry it.
Everything metal here is stainless steel. Posts, links, and head pins, all of it. There is no plating to wear thin, which makes this a good pair if most earrings give you trouble. Stainless steel contains a small amount of nickel bound into the alloy, but it releases very little and is well tolerated by most people with metal sensitivities.
The tint runs slightly differently through every bead. This pair is the only one like it.
At 1.5 inches from the post, Kori sits just below the earlobe. The most neutral piece in the collection, and the one that goes with everything you already own.
Care:
Stainless steel resists tarnish and holds up to daily wear better than any plated finish. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Remove before swimming or sleeping to protect the glass and loops, and store in the provided pouch.

Keep your piece away from perfume, hairspray, and lotions, and put jewelry on last when getting ready. Store it in a dry place, flat and out of direct sunlight. A little water will not hurt it, just wipe it dry afterward with a soft cloth. For gemstones, an occasional gentle wipe is all they need.
